Midori Mitamura

She was born in Aichi in 1964. She is based in Tokyo.
She represents “The drama audience can experience” with using various medium including photography and video.
She has exhibited widely including recent solo exhibitions “Before the Daybreak” (Gallery Terra Tokyo, Tokyo, 2013), “Green on the mountain” (uqbar, Berlin, 2012), “I’m standing beside the water” (Bambinart Gallery, Tokyo, 2011) and “Green on the mountain” (Secession, Vienna, 2006), and recent group exhibitions including “Big Sky Friendship” (Towada Art Center, 2014), “Over the Rainbow” (Fuchu Art Museum, Tokyo, 2012) and “Quiet attentions” (Mito Art Center, 2011).
She has carried out “Art & Breakfast” in Belfast(2014), Vienna(2013), Tokyo (2012,2008), Melbourne (2011), Berlin (2010) and Stockholm (2006).
